The NYC Soccer Academy is excited to return in-person for Summer 2022! Our priority continues to be the health and safety of our campers. Please see our updated health & safety requirements below. 

Players will be exposed to technical training to improve their ability on the field.  Players will also experience competitive game situations that will help develop and improve the skill and confidence required to succeed at every level. Goalkeepers will be used in all sessions and coached by our experienced staff within their assigned groups.

 
Our staff is comprised of College, ODP, Club, and High School coaches, along with current and former Columbia soccer players. Our staff blends together a wealth of teaching and playing experience, making us one of the best camps around.
 
The NYC Soccer Academy is dedicated to enthusiastically making better players of all campers.

SHUTTLE BUS

Campers must provide their own transportation to and from camp.  An optional shuttle bus is available from Columbia University to the Baker Athletics Complex for an additional fee. The bus leaves from 117th and Amsterdam at 8:30 AM and returns to the same location at approximately 3:30 PM (Mon - Thur) & 12:30 (Fri). Space is limited. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please check the weather forecast each day and dress accordingly. Campers should be prepared with rain gear and a change of clothes on rainy days.

LOCATION & FACILITIES

All camps are held at Columbia University's Baker Athletics Complex at 533 West 218th Street, New York, NY 10034.  Click for DIRECTIONS.

Facilities include the Rocco B. Commisso Soccer Stadium and the Laurence A. Wein Stadium.

REQUIRED FORMS

In accordance with NYC Health Code and Columbia University Policy, we require all campers to have an approved physical examination form on file before they can play. 

 

Acceptable forms must be signed by a physician and dated to reflect a physical examination completed within a year of the last day your child plan's to attend camp.

 

The NYC Physical Examination form is available for download HERE.

 

As an alternative to the NYC Physical Examination form, we will happily accept a comparable form from your child's pediatrician. Please note that a full physical examination form is required, and we cannot accept a note from your doctor indicating that your camper is cleared to play. The NYC Soccer Academy is required to adhere to this New York City Health Code and Columbia University guideline in order to hold our camp, and NO exceptions can be permitted. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

UPDATED HEALTH & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • All players must be fully vaccinated with an FDA or WHO authorized vaccine in order to participate. “Fully vaccinated” means at least 14 days after the second dose of a two dose COVID-19 vaccine OR at least 14 days after a single dose of an approved single dose COVID-19 vaccine. Players eligible for a booster, must also be boosted in order to participate.

  • Proof of vaccination is required and must be uploaded prior to camp.

  • Please note, camps will need to implement and follow all NY State, New York City & Columbia University policies and protocols. If there are additional requirements, we will be sure to get you that information immediately. All guidelines will need to be 100% followed in order to participate.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If cancellation is requested two weeks prior to the start of camp, a full credit for any future camp OR a refund (minus a $75 cancellation fee) will be issued. Cancellation must be requested in writing at nycsocceracademy@gmail.com two weeks prior to the start of camp. If a cancellation is requested within 2 weeks of the start of camp, a credit towards any future camp will be issued. 

 

NYC Soccer Academy reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule any camp or clinic because of low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. In the unfortunate case a camp or clinic is canceled, we will issue a credit for a future camp. NYC Soccer Academy cannot be held responsible for any related costs, charges or expenses, including but not limited to; cancellation/change fees assessed by airlines, hotels, car services or travel agencies.
